Can hydraulic fittings be used on power steering?

The application of hydraulic fittings in power steering devices is very extensive, especially in modern automobiles and large machinery, where hydraulic steering systems have become mainstream. The following are the specific functions of hydraulic fittings in power steering devices:

1. Power transmission and assistance function
The hydraulic pump is the power source of the steering assist system. It is driven by the engine and provides stable pressure and flow through hydraulic oil, allowing the driver to easily control the direction without direct force when turning the steering wheel. Hydraulic pumps can provide appropriate assistance to the steering system by adjusting the output oil volume and pressure, reducing the burden on the driver's operation.

2. Direction control and reversing function
Hydraulic directional valves (such as one-way valves or two-way valves) control the direction of hydraulic oil flow, switch the oil flow path according to the direction of steering wheel rotation, and drive the hydraulic oil to push the wheels to turn. In this way, the hydraulic system helps the steering device achieve rapid adjustment of direction.

3. Pressure control and protection
Overflow valve is an important protective fitting in hydraulic systems to prevent excessive oil pressure in the system. When the pressure in the power steering system exceeds the set threshold, the relief valve will automatically release the excess pressure to prevent damage to the system. In addition, hydraulic fittings such as pressure sensors and regulating valves can also adjust oil pressure according to load changes, ensuring the stability and comfort of the steering system.

4. Flow control and stability
In order to ensure the smoothness of the steering action, the hydraulic system needs to precisely control the speed of the oil flow. The throttle valve can control the response speed of power steering by adjusting the oil flow rate. The flow control valve and proportional valve can adjust the hydraulic oil flow according to the driver's steering intention, making the steering process smoother and avoiding abrupt or uneven steering feedback.

5. Efficiency and response speed
The response speed of hydraulic power steering system is fast, which can change the hydraulic oil flow or pressure in a short time, enabling the driver to quickly and accurately complete the steering operation. The efficient hydraulic control system not only improves the responsiveness of steering, but also enhances the driving experience, especially at low speeds or parking.

6. compactness and adaptability
Hydraulic fittings such as hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and valve groups are small in size and compact in structure, making them easy to integrate into the steering system of automobiles. They not only save space but also withstand high-intensity workloads. The hydraulic system has strong adaptability to the environment and can maintain stable operation under high temperature, high pressure, low temperature and other conditions, ensuring the reliability of the steering system in various driving environments.
